Sara

Sara Delaram, our founder, understands the importance of a quality education. When she was nine years old, her family moved to America and Sara taught herself English. She has since gone on to graduate from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s in mathematics and become a certified highschool math teacher. From tutoring since her early highschool career to graduating the student teaching program UTeach, She has years of experience in education. Sara has an unrivaled love for teaching and knows that every child can find their passion and begin to love life and learning, despite any hurdles or obstacles in their way.

 

“You dream it, we’ll help you achieve it,” is the motto of our learning center, and Sara lives and breathes it. She wants children to not only learn, but to know why they are learning and to connect their education to the real world. She wants every child to have the opportunity to realize their dreams and knows that within all children lies the potential for greatness. She believes that the Delaram Learning Center is the perfect tool to help children foster their inner skills and understand the role their education plays in their future aspirations.

 

Sara’s personal passion and skill is in teaching mathematics. Being a math teacher and tutor, she has heard “I’m not good at math,” countless times and never believes it. Sara knows that math educators often lack enthusiasm and drive, which she brings in spades. A teacher’s attitude is infectious, and She wants her zeal for math to spread to her students. In everyone’s school career there is a special teacher who affects them in a powerful way, and Sara aspires to be that teacher.
